Hello World!
Yesterday we went to the aquarium called "The Deep" it was suppose to be a really neat and a must see... However we didn't think so. Now don't get me wrong it was a nice aquarium and something to do to waste time and the price wasn't bad for what you saw. We decided to go at 2, that way we could be back for a meeting with our house tutor.. But I'll get to that in a bit.
This is the aquarium that we went to. Pretty huh?
This is obviously one of the many jelly fish tanks.
These are West African Mudskippers and the tree like thing is a Mangrove.
This was a beautiful tropical part of the aquarium.. They had a whole bunch of fish and very pretty stingray's in there.
I just loved all the bright and colorful little fish.
Catherine and Audrey are checking it out :)
These little guys were prolly the funniest things ever! They would just bob up and down and wiggle all around.
Petra, Audrey, & Adam touching the ICE. They had a video playing on it.
These little guys are the Blue Poison Arrow Frogs. When we got our tickets this was frog that was on mine.
This was a BEAUTIFUL Church.. it is the Holy Trinity church. It is one of the grandest parochial church in England, and it is England's largest parish church by area in the Guinness Book of Records. It is 700 years old, the front part of the church dates back to 1380!
After the exhibit we split up and were walking to the train station to catch a bus.
After the aquarium we split up and some people went to find carrot cake, and the boys went to get something to eat while the rest of us went home. After we returned home and a little time had passed our house tutor came over and gave us the lowdown on what he was expecting from us and the rules of the house.... yes he is like our mother. When that glorious meeting was over we took a little nap and got ready for that night. We went to a house party before we went out to asylum, seems like a pattern right? I know... but it is freshers week and it is quite common. ANYWAYS, after a couple hours at the house party we decided that we would head to asylum, the on campus nightclub. When we got there it was about 11:00ish and had to decide if we wanted to go in... Thankfully instead of paying the 5 pounds to get in the lady at the door said that she wouldn't pay that for the party so we instead went to Sanctuary, the on campus bar. They were having Karaoke at the bar, we ordered our drinks and went to find a place to sit. The girls at the table decided that they wanted to do a song (they may have had a few drinks earlier....) They did Dancing Queen from Mama Mia! Hilarious! So that was basically all we did that night....... So until the next exciting thing happens (tomorrow) I bid you a farewell!
