Hello World!
Today was an early morning, we had to be at the Venn Building at 7:00 AM! Yes, AM, as in the freaking morning. But since we were up that early we got to see this beautiful sight!

Continuing on with the glorious early morning, well actually that is about where it stopped for the glorious part. As shown below is a picture of us just waiting for the bus. Ohh but not just waiting, we had to wait and wait and wait and wait and WAIT... Yes we had to be there at 7, but the bus didn't actually show up until 8! But that's not the best part, Wait for it. Ready? They were suppose to be 4 buses A, B,C,D, well BCD showed up but no A. Now we were assigned buses based on when we purchased our tickets, I was on bus B with about half my group. Unfortunately the people who purchased tickets first did not have a bus to ride on. That's right the people were bus less. Something happened and the bus did not show up, so they sent us ahead and let the others go home and come back later to catch the bus that would come back to pick them up after they dropped us off at York. Now this is an hour bus ride, so they were coming 2+ hours late! NO FUN!
Once we got to York, I finally understood why people thought Hull was an ugly city! Compared to York, Hull is ugly. HOWEVER I don't believe that Hull is ugly, I believe that it has its own character and I like it a lot! Now lets get on with my day. After getting off the bus we went to get breakfast, Blueberry Muffin for me! Having a little food/caffeine in our system we headed out to see the city.
After we got off the bus, we went across the bridge and this is what we saw :)
This was one of our first stops, isn't it beautiful? Now the next few I don't remember exactly when we stopped, but it was before lunch! I do know that much! Haha.
Continuing on with the day we went to the castle/prison thing (below) this had the best view of York! I was so beautiful I am trying (really trying) to make a panoramic view of what I saw... its harder than you think :(

When we were all finished with the prison/castle thing we continued on and went to the wall that surrounded the city. We walked part of it and stopped to take a picture of the group (minus bus 1 ppl)

Youssef was acting as our tour guide/ navigator... We were trying to figure out where to go next. :) After walking around the town for a few hours we knew that the others would be getting there really soon! Audrey and myself, went to wait for them at the bus stop, once they arrived we were going to go eat lunch. We decided to go to a pizza place, it was OK. Since we had a huge group we had to wait a few minutes to let them get ready for us.

When lunch was all over we went back through town to look at a few places again. After another couple of hours touring the town we stopped at a local bar that specialized in cocktail drinks. They were delicious. Now when I say they specialized in cocktail drinks I'm not joking! They had a menu of at least 100 drinks that you could order. I had what was called a Constantine it had vodka and lemon and a whole bunch of other stuff in it. It was DELICIOUS! They were so good and loaded with alcohol that after one drink you were buzzed. But it was worth it :)

Now that the day is done I am exausted and ready for bed! So until next time! BYE
